# CommsIQ

CommsIQ provides an AI-powered communications processing workspace for extracting structured information from conversations, such as emails, meeting notes and meeting recaps, and organizing the results in the appropriate Comms Board. It uses configurable Comms Models to define what information should be identified in each type of conversation and how it should be processed.

To open CommsIQ, expand **Knowledge** in the left navigation menu and select **CommsIQ**.

The CommsIQ menu includes four main areas:

* **Comms Models:** View, search, create and manage the models that define the attributes CommsIQ should extract from each type of conversation.
* **Comms Boards:** View and manage the boards where CommsIQ stores the information extracted from processed conversations.
* **Processing Logs:** View conversations processed through CommsIQ, including their source, subject, target Comms Board, applied Comms Model, and received and processing times.
* **Settings:** Configure the AI providers, models, language preferences and processing behaviour applied to every conversation processed through CommsIQ.
